Robotec Solutions has a new apprentice: Pascal Balmer has been part of our team since August 2024 and is completing his apprenticeship as a design engineer EFZ.
How was your start with us?
My start at Robotec Solutions was great. I've already learned a lot of exciting things, and everyone in the Robotec team has welcomed me warmly.
What did you do before?
I completed the 9th grade at the district school in Seengen.
How did you come across Robotec Solutions?
Actually, I wanted to do an apprenticeship as an automation technician. That's why I searched for relevant apprenticeships on the LENA platform (apprenticeship directory) of the Canton of Aargau. There, I stumbled upon the trial day at Robotec Solutions, where I learned about the apprenticeship as a design engineer EFZ. I didn't know it before, but I immediately knew it was the right fit.
What are you particularly looking forward to?
I think it's cool to learn something new and to be able to work on projects. Additionally, the apprenticeship as a design engineer EFZ is very diverse. You don't always do the same thing. You deal with many different components, and I'm looking forward to the many insights I'll gain in our workshop.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy playing sports, like volleyball. In the summer, I play beach volleyball with friends, and we spend a lot of time by the lake.
Pascal, we're thrilled to have you with us and look forward to working with you!
