Robot Groundbreaking in Seon

Robotec Solutions AG celebrated the groundbreaking for the new industrial building in Seon on a small scale. By 2023, the company will double the office and production space at its current location, even though it only moved to the Birren location five years ago.

The robot automation industry is currently growing disproportionately, making another new building necessary. Industrial robotics is interesting for any company that produces large quantities and requires high flexibility in manufacturing. By using robots, productivity can be increased, and employees are relieved of monotonous, repetitive tasks so that they can be deployed for more demanding tasks.

The company currently employs 50 people worldwide, with 35 specialists currently working in Seon alone. With this 7 million Swiss franc project, Robotec Solutions is creating space for up to 60 employees. In the summer of 2023, the new building will be ready for occupancy. However, the doors will already be open to the general public on September 15 and 16, 2022. The OPEN HOUSE EVENT offers customers and technically interested professionals the opportunity to get to know the robotics industry with its latest developments and to take a look behind the scenes. Topics such as deep learning, 3D printing, mobile robots, pharmaceutical testing, and much more will be on display. To understand the complex technical systems, experts will be available for a tour of the halls.
