Robotec TechDay 2026: Photo Gallery and Recap

Robotec TechDay 2026 was a resounding success! Interested visitors from across German-speaking Switzerland, as well as a delegation from Romandy, experienced firsthand at more than a dozen systems and demo cells the opportunities that AI and 3D vision offer in production logistics.

Even at TechDay2026, the focus was on hands-on practice: across three floors, we presented demo cells as well as current systems from customer projects, supported by our technology partner Mech-Mind . In several groups, we guided visitors to the stations, where Robotec employees explained the automation solutions firsthand and answered questions. Among other things, we showed the following systems:

Automating goods receiving: fast de-stacking of different packages
Fast pick-and-place with vision support
Palletizing with data matrix
Bin picking of raw parts with 3D vision
Automated assembly of bulk components with leak testing

Our CTO Stefan Hänseler provided the theoretical background with a presentation that explored deep learning and 3D vision and highlighted the possibilities and limitations of these technologies. The lunch and coffee breaks offered space for networking and technical discussions, or for a behind-the-scenes look at Robotec.
